Sunrises of Life

☆ Sunrises of Life ☆

Ever noticed a sunrise? The gradual ascend leaves one in its awe.. its radiance, the same glory, the equal warmth it gives to every thing it falls upon – Every. Single. Day.. It has the same aim. The same positive vibes – a hope for a new life.

The life in which we wake up, do chores, go to work, sweat, stress, laugh, tease, feed ourselves, go places and what not. We become so engrossed in these routine work we forget to learn from nature ……

Yet, it doesn’t stays up for long. Settling down into the horizon is a part of its “life” the darkness swepts in as its rays roll back and disappears eventually making everything go dark and gloomy around it. Was it the only time that happened? Will this be its destiny?
It has no power of its own ofcourse, Allah SWT has given this immense creature a sustaining order to rise and fall back peacefully and that it obeys as commanded…

So then it rises again, teaching us a lesson that no matter the sunsets in life, the busier we are in the worldly “downs” there is always a new hope for a new day with a sunrise waiting. No matter how much you stress, no matter how much you rant – there is a sunrise eventually. InshaaAllah.

What Matters The Most?

That’s all that matters; the rest is unimportant, unworthy and even non-existing.

For your intentions built the foundations of your hard work and that is what will bear the fruits in the end.
Also to bear in mind…..

1. Always think positive and positive shall come back to you. Don’t sweat the small stuff. What will happen will either frame you to a new you or make you soar high.

2. Do acknowledge the little that any person does in your lifetime. You might use them as your stair to success, either a tiny or big one, yet they did play a role somehow. Never look down upon anyone or forget someone who gave their 100% to you, karma is for real!

3. Keep giving a little of your earning- be it your salary or knowledge- to those who deserve it you will get some sincere prayers that do play a major ingredient in the recipe of success. Give also a part of you in the way of Allah SWT, make Him your business partner and then see miracles.

4. Keep in mind, everyone is struggling here so yes!! We’re a team! No matter how we stumble, everyone has their destination to reach – sooner or later so don’t be a judge in time.

5. Here is not the last one but yes, you do matter so make sure you do get the best treatment from others too. Silence is not always the answer and being loud isn’t the solution either. Choose an option in between, share your feelings and cover the loopholes created by others so you move on in life with peace.

Escape From The World

Lifeline: (definition) “A thing on which someone or something depends or which provides a means of escape from a difficult situation”.

A means of escape from every situation. Well, some of you might feel the same for your early morning coffee or maybe even herbal tea. So, here you may relate to what I mean.
Just the first sip of it wakes up your senses, welcomes you to a different world and gears you up for the day ahead. An overwhelming warmth that engulfs you soon after that

… All set to make up for the incomplete assignment left on the table from last night.
… Just know now what to cook today.
… Won’t be late!
… Prepared to face that boss again.
… Finally, got the ideas to present in meetings
… Ready to correct those glitches ahead
… Sorted out that black cloud of worry.

Alright!

Finally got a word to describe it.

Tea = Lifeline.

At HIS pace…

Ever wondered how sometimes Allah SWT eases your tasks over which you stressed your entire week through by thinking, arguing or even fighting for the sake if it? These may include your major decisions about workplace or shifting city or even your tiniest of worries that keep poking your curiosity now and then.
.
.
Allah SWT bless you in ways we can’t thank enough. Here’s a little post to share this tiny thought to ponder over the ways of how literally Allah SWT saves us, directs us and ease our path to where we ARE suppose to be headed- and not where we DESIRE to go.

.

We say He is “Aalam ul Ghaib” the “All Knower of Unseen” ask yourself truly, how much you believe in that? When we put our desires into our prayers and ask Him to make that happen, don’t ever think He would work at your pace. He knows what you don’t.

When we say Allah SWT is the best planner. Trust Him and believe in His timings. He wants you to plead for it and ask HIM only and not anyone else beyond Him. When you ask for the best, He will grant you with it sooner or later at His Pace.

Trust.

Broken Pieces…

I just had to share this piece of writing shared by a good friend of mine!

♥️

Today I was walking in the mall and suddenly I heard a noise of things breaking. I turned down an aisle and saw a group of people staring at an older lady who had hit a shelf containing plates and glasses with her cart. Many had fallen to the ground and broken.

Kneeling on the floor embarrassed, the lady was frantically picking up the shattered pieces, while her husband peeled off each bar code saying: “We have to pay for all this.”
What a sad scene. Someone has a mishap, and all eyes were on her. When I knelt beside her to help, a man also knelt beside us and said, “Leave it, we will pick this up. Let’s get your information, so you can go to the hospital and have that wound in your hand looked at.”
The lady looked at him and said, “But I have to pay this.”
The man said, “No ma’am, I’m the Manager & we have insurance for this. You don’t have to pay anything. Let’s get you taken care of.”

For you who have read this far, I’d like you to close your eyes and imagine Allah doing the same for you. Collect the pieces of your broken heart from all the misteps and blows that life has thrown at you. Allah will heal your wounds and your sins and mistakes will be forgiven.
This is the warranty that comes with Iman, that when you accept Allah as your only savior- the manager of the existence of the universe-
He will tell you: “Everything is already paid for … go on your way!”

Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. (9:111)

What Did We Learn..?

Its been more than an exhausting month.
The life we probably never thought we would live, yet being forced to do so, is getting hauntingly frustrating.

This Quarantine/lockdown/ social distancing is no doubt a very essential step to prevent spread of the Nobel virus, yet the routine spent at home, trust me, after a month gets boring although to people I interacted with during this period have very important views to share…

From doing plenty of laundry to experimenting new cooking techniques and cleaning the nooks of home to dusting every corner and watering plants to literally gardening and decorating our home and from watching sitcoms and podcasts to old dramas and reading books  – we’ve done it all!
Still, priorities matter.
So people shared- even I thought and getting into practicing this now- what really we should be doing…

1. Giving importance to relations at home and outside our home.
Spending time with Parents, siblings, immediate relatives (specially if you live in a joint family) and ofcourse giving a quick call to extended relatives and friends is important. Get out of the bubble of your cellphones and look beyond what matters to them the most.
For some of us, we get so busy in work hardly time is given for those who matter in our lives. You get to share happiness, learn new things and even talents of each other, become more considerate towards what really prioritizing means. Take out time, be it half an hour or so and sit down with them or help them in their work. Call them up or share ideas with them of work, life, hobbies etc. Also, discuss new happenings. But yes, keep in mind being with older people you should have lots of patience! I’m not just saying that!

2. We’ve read all kinds of books… Whatever we like and whenever we like. Do take out time to sit with Allah SWT as well. Free yourself from daily chores and literally talk with Allah SWT – you will be amazed at how spontaneously you get answers. Read Quran with translation and tafseer (transliteration).. Be it a page or a two set of lines- understand it and get your prep done for Ramadan! Join tafseer classes online. Listen to Surahs or even memorize them. If you’ve done this all, then master your Tajweed (way of recitation of Quran) skills… You’ve got so much time at your hand!

3. Discover the talent you’ve been craving to do.
Yes! Now is the time! Take out your badminton racket and play that long lost hobby of yours! Have got passion of cooking? Learn new recipes, make them and enjoy your time. Knitting, calligraphy, blogging, freelancing, making dry arrangements, make up or hairdos- you can learn a new skill or practise and polish the older ones. Your choice, your time !

4. Help those in need. I know, alhamdulilah, this is being practised everywhere in the world now. Still there are people who need to gear up specially for Ramadan- the daily wagers and the people in rural areas. Get donations and arrange rations, support them in teams. Not only these but the doctors and healthcare workers need your help too, reach out to them by volunteering for sometime (if you are also associated with healthcare) in their respective field to lesser their burden.

5. Continue the good things you learnt during this  time and practise it further when social distancing is lifted off. Its honestly never too late to start your life all over again.

Share your ideas here too if you got more. It will surely help those around us!

Happy Quarantine Time.

Remember in prayers! Cheers!
